10 Royal Rumble 2017 Entrants Who Won’t Enter 2018's

4. Brock Lesnar

Braun Strowman or Kane could be in the Rumble after working that Universal Title Triple Threat, but they won't be joined by Brock Lesnar, that's for sure. Even if Lesnar were to somehow lose the Raw belt (which seems unlikely), he'd skip pulling double duty. Can you imagine how much that'd cost WWE? Can you imagine being the one to ask him to walk past the curtain twice?

We're being light-hearted, of course. Still, there's some truth to it; Brock is the most protected athlete in the entire company right now, and his deal is set to expire some time around WrestleMania. Unless WWE have assurances that Lesnar will be with them for the rest of 2018, there's no chance he'd be considered as a repeat Rumble winner.

As he's prone to doing, Brock made a big impact in a short time last year. He was in the Rumble for less than 5 minutes and managed 3 eliminations before being thrown out by Bill Goldberg. We're expecting a slightly longer shift on the pay-per-view from our Universal Champ this time around. Slightly.
