Oscar Wilde once wrote, "Selfishness is not living your life as you wish. It is asking others to live their lives as you wish". Bang on, Oscar. If it's selfish to ask the wrestling Gods for a Shawn Michaels vs. AJ Styles match, then yours truly is guilty as charged.

It'd be breathtaking if done right and masked by the right gimmicks.

Shawn's Crown Jewel 2018 pay day in Saudi Arabia was a sad state of affairs for wrestling fans who remember how awesome he was in his prime. It earned him tons of cash, yes, but it's clearly a match he regretted afterwards and did nothing for his legacy.

A stormer opposite AJ would go some way to re-writing his final chapter. Michaels might see how great Styles was for The Undertaker and want some of that himself. Why not? If he's only going to wrestle one last time, let it be against someone who's been preparing for this his entire life.
