10 Signs You're A Pro Wrestling Mark

5. Leaving Work Early To Watch Wrestling

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SSATYZJrCuA Everyone tries to get Super Bowl Sunday off from work using an illegitimate excuse so they can watch the big game, but not all employees get lucky. When WrestleMania, wrestling's version of the Super Bowl, comes around, you are much more likely to get off of work early since you're probably one of the only wrestling fans at your workplace. Even if it's an awesome episode of Raw you've been looking forward to for months, you feel like you can't miss it live because DVR won't do you justice. For the younger viewers, they try to convince their parents to stay up past their bedtimes so they can see Brock Lesnar return even though it's a school night. I can't even begin to tell you how many awesome angles I missed live and had to watch the next morning because I had to go to bed before Raw went off the air. The casual fans may be content with watching the rest of the show via DVR the next day, but not us die-hands, the real "marks." Taking the day off from work or leaving school early to go to live WWE event also falls under this category. You feel as if its your duty, an obligation to attend Raw when it comes to your town and you don't want to regret not going if something amazing were to happen. Most people take time off from work to watch baseball, basketball, football or any other spot. We marks can't miss our wrestling because if there's one thing I've learned over the years, anything can happen when wrestling is live.
