10 Strange WWE Gimmick Matches

1. Kennel From Hell Match

It’s a distinct possibility that we’ll never see a stranger match than the infamous 1999 Kennel from Hell match. At the very least, we’ll never see another kennel match, that’s for sure.

The match, prompted by the Big Boss Man kidnapping, cooking and then feeding Al Snow’s dog to him (no, seriously), involved a Hell in a Cell enclosing an old school blue steel bar cage. Outside the ring were “attack” dogs who theoretically would tear the wrestlers apart, but they instead spent their time relieving themselves.

Snow would win this embarrassing match, and it would never be spoken of seriously again. It’s the type of match that would show up on lists like this and promptly be forgotten again. And maybe that’s for the best.
