10 Things CM Punk Could Have Done At WrestleMania 31
8. Special Match v Dr Joseph Maroon
As outlandish as this sounds, just remember, WWE have put Paul Heyman in the ring before... And even though Dr Joe is well over 70 now, he will probably still be able to move more freely than Brock Lesnar's advocate. Punk accused WWE doctor Maroon, who leads the company's talent wellness program, of being lazy and ignoring a possibly fatal staphylococcal infection on his lower back. Punk also claimed he worked for months while on antibiotics after suffering multiple concussions, broken ribs, an injured elbow and knees. WWE allegedly tried to force Punk to return to the ring long before he was medically cleared to do so. At his age, it would be highly unlikely that Maroon would ever step between the ropes but that couldn't stop the powers that be bringing the most real of feuds to the ring. For those of you that missed it, Maroon seeking more than $1 million from 'Chicago Made' and Colt Cabana in a defamation lawsuit following the pair's comments about him on the Art of Wrestling podcast. Imagine if Punk made the most unlikely of returns and had to face Maroon's army of superstars, with the Dr cutting some hellish promos. Fantasy booking to the extreme here.
