10 Things CM Punk Could Have Done At WrestleMania 31

7. Women's Rights Angle With Wife AJ Lee

Officially, as we are here and now today, AJ Lee is officially down as an injured member of the WWE roster. She has been laid out with a severe sounding neck injury that has kept her out since December. But her future in the company is more than up in the air. Persistent rumours of her following her husband through the WWE exit door refuse to go away. These rumours are sure to intensify now after her series of tweets to WWE supremo Stephanie McMahon. The exchange started when McMahon tweeted a message in support of Patricia Arquette's moving speech at the Oscars regarding equal pay for women:
It goes without saying that Steph and the rest of the WWE's top brass wouldn't have liked this public display of dismay, but she did ask all women to #UseYourVoice... McMahon finished the brief exchange by saying: "Thank you @WWEAJLee, I appreciate your opinion. #UseYourVoice". Now Punk could return and help his wife get even more over than she already is, if that's possible, by helping her on a shoot crusade on the WWE women's rights. This would provide a compelling storyline and will help the Divas' division no end. It would also give Steph more mic time. And that's best for business. On top of that, the former Billion Dollar Princess proved that she can still go in the ring, and should put on a better match against the supremely talented Lee than she did against Brie Bella. Maybe Punk could have been AJ's advocate. he's certainly had plenty of time to learn from the best.
