10 Things We Learned From Dean Ambrose On Talk Is Jericho

9. The Proposed Feud With Mick Foley

Dean gives his insights into the almost-feud between he and Mick Foley that originated on social media while he was still in developmental. He had a brilliant idea where he would hold a grudge against the Hardcore Legend for inspiring and influencing an entire generation of young wrestlers to practically kill themselves. The braintrust were completely onboard with the idea and Ambrose began taking shots at Foley, even going so far as to approach him at an autograph signing and confront him while bystanders filmed it and took the incident viral. Unfortunately Mick was unable to pass the physical to get cleared. The program couldn't go to the next level and it was scrapped entirely. For his part, Foley actually claimed that he nixed the program because Ambrose was mentioning his family in his tweets, but he has since added that after Dean deleted the tweets and apologized he was ready to move forward had it not been for the doctors not clearing him. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IZcwPGLqQ9I
