10 Things Post-WrestleMania 38 Raw Told Us About WWE’s Future

3. A New Belt For Roman Reigns Is A Must

Nobody could've predicted that Roman Reigns would see such mediocrity from Bianca Belair and say, 'Right, hold my beer'. The dual WWE and Universal Champion closed Raw with one of the most pointless in-ring promos the program has ever witnessed.

WWE resisted the urge to introduce a new Undisputed Title belt, or even formally announce Roman's opponent for WrestleMania Backlash on 8 May. Sure, they've got a bit of breathing room there, but some indication as to what people can look forward to would've been nice.

Reigns did promise more on Friday's SmackDown, to be fair. There, expect him to either receive a new shiny belt from a beaming Paul Heyman and/or face a fresh hurdle from someone. An earlier promo did drop hints on exactly who that could be, but WWE may want to slow the roll on that particular feud until SummerSlam hype begins in a few months.

The new title is a must though.
