10 Things To Expect From The New TV-14 WWE

More sex? More violence? More blood & guts? WWE's new TV-14 era is coming...

And just like that, an era over-flowing with undoubted gems such as a Queen of Harts letting loose countless farts and cringey attempts at causing a stir in the form of a disastrous group of RETRIBUTION renegades appears to be on its way out of the door.

That's according to Wrestling Observer/Mat Men's always reliable Andrew Zarian, who, despite also noting how the initial releasing of said information may have been a tad premature, has announced to the world that a TV-14 return for Vinnie Mac's empire is very much "still in consideration for a later date."

So, what exactly does this mean for a product that has found itself growing increasingly tired and stale by the year during a TV-PG period of routinely disappointing programming? Well, Cody Rhodes will likely be rubbing his hands together at the thought of going full Nightmare, for one thing...

From the return of a much more violent array of contests, to perhaps a more relaxed approach when handing a live mic over to a talented talker, it's safe to say WWE may be about to experience something of a shake-up in the coming weeks...

While those tried and tested dollar bills always have a funny way of convincing titans of the past to pop back up in the much more diluted arena that is modern day WWE, of course, the various folks who made a serious name for themselves during the hottest era in wrestling history will still likely be keeping a firm eye on this developing situation.

When it comes to the much-talked-about potential return of The Rock at next year's WrestleMania 39, for example, the idea of being able to genuinely cut loose and not have to slightly tone down the sort of tongue in cheek schtick that made him a household name in the first place will no doubt make the concept of a mouth-watering feud with cousin Roman Reigns that bit more tantalising for the Hollywood megastar.

The same will likely go for a sea of other Attitude Era legends, too, with a recently returning Stone Cold Steve Austin and maybe even the likes of Shawn Michaels wanting to get in on the more unfiltered action one last time before officially calling it a day in the middle of the squared-circle.
