... because f*cking hell, was this an absolute slog.

Even with the incredible energy that pulsed through the MetLife Stadium at times, and despite the beautiful catharsis of the night's best moments, WrestleMania 35 was a brutal marathon. 7+ hours is a long time. That's almost a full working day, and longer when you factor transport to and from the venue into the equation. It's impossible not to catch yourself wavering at times, and while we all had a good time in East Rutherford, New Jersey (in spite of 'Mania's flaws), we all found ourselves fading away at various points throughout.

It was particularly tough towards the end of night, with bouts like Batista vs. Triple H and Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre suffering notable lulls. That's on WWE. They choose to present 'Mania this way, but the solution is obvious.

Spread this mammoth show over two nights. A couple of three-to-four hour blasts would prevent cratering energy levels, sell more tickets, and make WrestleMania weekend even more of a destination event. Just f*cking do it, because these monster nights are always going to tire people out no matter how good the action is.
