Heyman brings up the name CM Punk when talking about wrestlers not being afraid to take chances and risk being fired. Heyman thinks people who are job-scared are always going to sit in the midcard, while those with the balls to stick their neck on the line and upset their superiors will be fine, so long as what they do gets over and effects the audience.

Punk was someone that WWE just didn't want. Heyman tells of how they didn't like his look, his size, his style, the fact that he was straight-edge - hell, they didn't like Phil Brooks personally. Punk was sent to WWE developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling, which Heyman was booking at the time, and Heyman claims he was told to fire Punk on at least one occasion.

Of course that didn't happen and Punk went on to become a huge star, against the odds and against the wishes of his superiors.
