10 Things We Learned From Jon Moxley On Renee Paquette’s Sessions Podcast

1. His AEW Match Vince McMahon Would Hate

According to Moxley, he has "so many matches" in AEW that he couldn't get away with working in WWE. "Vince would just flip his lid" at some of the stuff Jon does on Dynamite and Rampage, he thinks. There's also one specific AEW match that Mox knows McMahon "would hate".

Mox and Eddie Kingston vs. The Young Bucks at Double Or Nothing 2021.

In an interesting moment, Jon put on Vince's voice and said: "You're not selling - grab a hold". He knows McMahon wouldn't be keen on the spot-heavy nature of the match, or the fact that it was worked at such a breakneck pace. The WWE man would want everybody to slow the f*ck down.

Moxley is tickled by that, and he enjoys the freedom AEW gives him. He can go out there and have an ultra-violent hardcore match one week, then fly around the place like he's one of The Bucks the next. That variety keeps him motivated.
