JBL stays key to the subject matter of the conversation, as talk turns to the infamous Brawl for All tournament that sucked up WWF RAW airtime in 1998. For those who don't remember it (lucky you), the Brawl for All was a shoot-fighting tournament that was rumoured to be a vehicle to get 'Dr. Death' Steve Williams over, but basically led to Bart Gunn getting murdered by Butterbean at WrestleMania XV.

Angle is asked if he would have entered the tournament, something he wouldn't have done. Despite this, he feels certain that he would have won it. Being a tough guy is a good start, but being a tough guy with shoot-fighting chops to back it up probably puts you in a good position.

Russo talks a little about the creation of the tournament, stating that it came about after JBL claimed in the locker room that he could take anyone on the roster on in a bar fight. BL was wrong (hi Joey Styles!).

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
