10 Things We Learned From The Undertaker On Stephanie McMahon's WWE Show

2. The Urn Was A Rib On Paul Bearer

Mid-episode, Undertaker showed off the actual urn they used for his WrestleMania XX comeback in 2004 as the classic ‘Deadman’ character. Stephanie was slightly stunned that the thing was so heavy, so 'Taker let her in on a little long-held secret. He admitted that this might’ve been a rib at Paul Bearer’s expense.

The shrill manager had to hold the urn for an entire match/segment every night after returning back by his old charge's side, and folks backstage got a good laugh out of how heavy the prop was. Never miss the chance to have a laugh at your work, eh? Someone got Paul good with that one. He had to be cursing the prop department for picking such a realistic urn, and for making it so heavy.

Most fans watching Stephanie's Places will get a kick out of that, because there's a childish glee to The Undertaker's face when he talks about messing with Bearer just for the hell of it. Both got on famously and became real-life pals earlier on when working together the first time, so this was a lighthearted bit of banter to get a rise out of Paul.

It's a shame that McMahon didn't think to ask 'Taker whether or not Bearer sold it. There's a chance the switched on old warhorse simply refused to give everyone behind the curtain what they wanted. Some wrestling ribs are mean-spirited and cruel, but this was absolutely one of WWE's gentler pranks.

Instead of shrieking, "Oh yes!", Paul was presumably thinking, 'Oh no' when he had to pick the urn up in 2004.
