10 Things We Learned From WWE's Finn Bálor: For Everyone

8. Homecoming

Similar to his thoughts on Neville, Bálor was extremely complimentary towards Kevin Owens, noting their stereo rises through the ranks that culminated in two spectacular NXT Championship clashes in the summer of 2015.

The Ladder Match from TakeOver: Brooklyn is only really alluded to in passing compared to a love letter from from Finn to their Beast In The East belt-swap a month prior. The match taking place in Japan made an already electrifying encounter even hotter, expressed here with extensive footage of the streamers and pomp on the night as well as Bálor's tidbit about the destination.

The Irish star noted how the historic Ryogoku Kokugikan venue was the last place he'd worked in Japan before making the jump to WWE via the developmental brand that had since become his home. It made for the perfect setting on the night for Bálor's kayfabe coronation, but clearly did much to match Finn's real emotion.
