10 Things We Never Thought We Would See In WWE In The 2010s

4. WWE Mending Fences With Bret Hart And Others

Vince McMahon deserves all the credit in the world for being a brilliant wrestling (er, sports entertainment) promoter, but he holds grudges like no one else. He has burnt bridges with many people during his time on top in WWE, and regardless of whether he was at fault or not, he didn't attempt to bring them back. If he did, it was a lousy effort. It has become a cliched catchphrase at this point, but Triple H definitely does know what is best for business. Slowly transitioning him to a behind-the-scenes roles in 2010 was the best thing they could have done, as it has led to a number of disgruntled ex-employees coming back to the company over the years. Triple H convinced WWE legend Bruno Sammartino that the product wasn't what it once was and played a major role in getting him inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. The Ultimate Warrior, who had been gone for almost two decades, was brought back into the fold by The Game in 2014. Even Lanny Poffo has talked about how it was Triple H who got him back into the good graces of the company, leading to Randy Savage taking his right place in the Hall of Fame last year. Although it was before Triple H's time as an executive, Bret Hart returning to WWE in early 2010 and burying the hatchet with Shawn Michaels on live TV was also a shocking yet heartwarming moment. Time heals all wounds, but no one could have guessed that WWE (specifically Triple H) would mend fences with so many people in such a short span of time.
