10 Things WWE Has Forgotten How To Do

4. Resist The Idea That Everyone Has To Be Gunning For Main Events

Wrestling fans have to take partial blame for this one, with few exceptions outside of those who watch on a more casual basis.

In the modern era, there's been a creeping trend developing, one which sees fans expecting WWE to push everyone new that enters the promotion. The infrastructure of the company simply can't work that way, there aren't enough slots at the top.

It's rare to see genuine mid card performers nowadays. Looking back to the past, the likes of the Road Dogg and - long before him - Tito Santana were rarely portrayed as headline performers. They were there to fill out the card and they had their own important roles to play.

Now, WWE have succumb to the idea that everyone has to try and 'break the glass ceiling'. This is an impossibility as there are simple too many wrestlers for it to happen.

Take the League Of Nations, for example. There's not enough space for those guys to crack into the main event scene permanently, but anything else WWE comes up with for them is viewed as a waste of time.

People cry out that they should be pushed, but it's easier said than done.
