10 Things WWE Must Add To WWE Network To Justify $14.99

WWE Network’s “Collections” category looks to compile sets of moments and matches bound together by a common theme all in one place. If you want to chart the most important moments of Eddie Guerrero’s career or The Rock’s formative years, for example, you’re in luck. Similarly, the category features playlists of great Cruiserweight matches, highlights from the Steve Austin vs. Vince McMahon feud, and a handful of others.

Sadly, it’s woefully underused. There are just 24 available playlists at the moment, and while the existing content is fantastic, WWE aren’t using the feature to its full potential, and the existing playlists can be incomplete. Presenting these collections in chronological order allows fans the chance to relive groundbreaking careers and storylines as they happened, but it feels like they’ve barely scratched the surface.

Why not use the collections section to show the build towards upcoming pay-per-view matches, or provide an annual match of the year playlist? Similarly, there are countless historic stories (like Bret vs. Owen) that younger fans will obviously never get to experience in the moment, and face the awkward task of going back and skipping through dozens of hours of footage to relive in 2016.

This is a vastly underused (and under-promoted) tool in the WWE Network’s locker, and one that would makes digesting the company’s biggest moments a whole lot easier.
