10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About John Cena

8. His Running Buddy Was Bull Buchanan

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQPSJRJzF9M The pairing of John Cena with Bull Buchanan was an odd one from the start. Cena's rapper gimmick was in full swing. He was a heel that would rip into his babyface opponents using his sharp wit and slick rhymes. It didn't seem like he needed to have anybody with him, but for whatever reason WWE paired up Buchanan with him and named him B2 or B-Squared. It was an awkward pairing because Cena had some rap credibility since he did it all his life while B2 looked really out of place from the beginning of the angle. Prior to Survivor Series 2011, Bull Buchanan was brought back for an awful "This is Your Life" segment that Mick Foley hosted in support of Cena. He mentioned getting fired, losing his wife, lost all his money and his dog gave him rabies. "You ruined my life!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kx1QAugf_Vg It's fair to say that Cena's team with Buchanan really wasn't a great part of Cena's career. That was the point of that segment. Fans may forget this, but Cena also had "Red Dog" with him for about a week on Smackdown. He went on to become known as Rodney Mack. Cena ended up becoming a solo act, turned babyface and has been in that role for the past 11 years.
