10 Things You Didn't Know About Roman Reigns
3. He Was Going To Win At Survivor Series 2015 Either Way

Seth Rollins won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 31 and held it well into the fall, earning the longest title reign following a Money in the Bank cash-in. Still, he was booked so poorly as champion that both he and the title were completely undermined. It was only Rollins's incredible skill that kept him from flopping completely.
Rollins defended the title against Kane at Hell in a Cell, and the following evening, Roman Reigns won a four-way match to become number one contender. The long-awaited singles showdown between the two men looked to finally be coming, but the following week, Rollins injured his knee and was forced to vacate the title. Reigns would win the tournament to crown a new champion.
Despite the longstanding animosity between the men, the creation of the Reigns-Rollins match seemed a bit abrupt. That, combined with the fact that Rollins was starting to gain more popularity for his amazing performances, led many fans to speculate that perhaps "The Architect" would have retained the belt at Survivor Series if they fought, and Reigns only benefited from Rollins's absence.
Not the case - according to The Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer, Reigns was going to walk out of Survivor Series with the belt no matter who he had to defeat.
