5. Mark Jindrak Was Supposed To Be In Evolution
Oh how the history of wrestling could have been so different. It's hard to imagine anyone other than Triple H, Ric Flair, Randy Orton and Batista comprising Evolution, but 'The Animal' almost didn't make the cut. Mark Jindrak, most famous for his poor tag team runs with Garrison Cade and Luther Reigns (and the even lamer 'Reflection of Perfection' gimmick) was the man whom WWE and, in particular, Triple H had wanted in the group. Triple H was trying to mentor Jindrak and Orton, both of whom WWE had high hopes for. Unfortunately, both Jindrak and Orton were (self-admittedly) very immature at that point in their careers. They even staged a pretend fight, completely for their own amusement, at a bar/restaurant after a show one time after a house show. It was incidents like this that made WWE second guess their dedication to the cause. WWE went so far as to shoot Evolution vignettes with Jindrak in them. But something was off and the chemistry wasn't quite right. Jindrak just didn't give off the correct vibe, didn't project that he belonged in a group of that stature. So he was switched out and Batista was added to the group instead. Jindrak posted a lengthy blog post about the events leading up to him being taken out of Evolution in 2013, which you can
