2. There Was No Need For Two Undertaker Casket Matches On Pay-Per-View

1995 was a fairly depressing year for The Undertaker. Opponents ranged from IRS and King Kong Bundy at the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania XI respectively, to the likes of Kama and 'King' Mabel later on in the year. Along the way, 'Taker was booked in not one but two Casket Matches on pay-per-view.

The first of these took place at SummerSlam against Kama. Dubbed the 'Supreme Fighting Machine', Kama had supposedly taken Undertaker's infamous urn and melted it down into a gold chain for himself. As a match, it was slow and ponderous, although the same can be said of 'Taker's second coffin-related bout of the year.

At In Your House 5 in December, 'The Deadman' faced Mabel in a Casket Match that proved significantly shorter than the SummerSlam effort. Sadly, neither one felt worthwhile, only adding to the misery Undertaker fans had to suffer through in '95.

One Casket Match would have been enough, there was no real need for another mere months after the first. Thankfully, Mick Foley's Mankind character would come along in 1996 and help improve Undertaker's fortunes.
