10 TIMES John Cena Buried The Miz

The Miz John Cena

...only they f*cking did, didn't they?!

Yes, to the shock of many, John Cena was booked in a mixed tag team match at WrestleMania 34 alongside his girlfriend Nikki Bella against fellow reality vehicle standouts The Miz and Maryse. Much had changed since Miz and Cena last faced off on 'The Show Of Shows' (not least that Miz had been rendered so ineffective by the angle that he'd never been trusted with a top title since), but 'Big Match John' rolled the clock back to 2011 the moment the Hollywood couple scored points on him with their hilarious 'Total Bellas' spoof.

Cena was caustic and hypocritical in his retort. Drawing a line between the 'Miz' persona and the real Mike Mizanin, he went in hard on him and his wife. "Congratulations Mike, you did your best work tonight. And congratulations Maryse, you finally did work. But Mike is softer than a shoe full of baby crap. Mike couldn't crush a grape in a fruit fight."

Having spent a lifetime assassinating Miz' character, his concentrated effort on the person behind the persona was a vintage display from a 'Champ' at this point equally as phoney as his Hollywood contemporary.
