There's no better example of Cena getting his ass kicked (or totally owned) then what happened in the main event of SummerSlam 2014. That was the night where Cena defended the WWE Title against "The Beast" Brock Lesnar in a match where we all figured Lesnar was going to win, but we didn't know how he would do it. Lesnar absolutely destroyed Cena that night. He was on offense for about 95% of match. Lesnar famously hit Cena with 16 German Suplexes in the match. There were points where it looked like Cena was unconscious from them. He wasn't really out of it, but he did a great job of selling it. People were genuinely concerned about his health due to the punishment he was taking. The beating ended with Lesnar winning the WWE Title in a 16 minute match where Cena barely did anything offensively. It got the point where you kept waiting for Cena's comeback to happen like it always did, but then when it didn't happen you realized this was one of the most unique matches we've ever seen. We may never see another match like Lesnar/Cena at SummerSlam 2014. It was the night that Cena took a beating of a lifetime. Nobody could ever do that to him the way that Lesnar did. That's why it's the best example of Cena getting destroyed.
