10 Times Triple H Lost Clean

7. Vs. The Undertaker (WrestleMania XXVII)

The Hell In A Cell match between The Undertaker and Triple H at WrestleMania XXVIII may well be more fondly-remembered, partly also due to an awesome performance by Shawn Michaels as the Special Guest Referee, but the bout between both guys the previous year deserves a lot of plaudits itself. Admittedly, this was the second time The Undertaker defeated Triple H cleanly at WrestleMania, having done so in 2001 at 'Mania X-Seven in a tremendous brawl. By 2011 however, people really believed 'The Game' could be the one to end the magical winning streak 'Taker had cultivated for himself at the big event. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2k3s3i_wrestlemania-xxvii-the-undertaker-vs-triple-h_sport The ending was simply terrific, and an excellent example of storytelling and drama. Following a hell of a lot of supreme brawling, The Undertaker locked on his Hell's Gate submission hold, wearing down Triple H. Desperately trying in vain to reach his trademark sledgehammer, HHH didn't have the strength to hold onto it, and instead submitted to his rival, leading to a standing ovation for both men.
