10 Times Wrestlers Abused Their Power On TV

7. Brock Lesnar Eats Braun Strowman For Lunch

Brock Lesnar was selective about the extent to which he gave a sh*t.

When he was on, he was f*cking on. The most dangerous-feeling wrestler ever was as great at selling as he was messing people up, and he was intelligent enough to craft a match that felt like an absolute freak of a killer was genuinely up sh*t creek. His Survivor Series 2018 match against Daniel Bryan was a masterpiece, in how Bryan almost dismantled the monster - as a heel - to such logical, dramatic effect.

That is because Lesnar gave a toss.

He didn't seem to give a toss at all about Braun Strowman, whom he dominated with casual, disinterested ease. He didn't bug out the eyes, or roar into an offensive phase with the fury of a man that had tasted his own blood. At No Mercy 2017, he set the F5 to autopilot and just worked a match like he was in WCW. Kevin Nash did more work in 2001 than Lesnar did in that main event.

It was annoying - Strowman was hot, and Lesnar had to bring the intensity to justify his omnipotence - but not unexpected. Brock made Vince his bitch, to use the wrestling industry's favourite word, and he perhaps shrugged Braun off as a reminder that there was only one giant that dwarfed over him.
