10 Times Wrestling Matches Got Weapons Wrong

1. STAIRS - Rey Mysterio Vs. Seth Rollins - WWE The Horror Show At Extreme Rules

WWE, as we've learned, has this incredible knack of perfecting bathos with zero intention of doing so: Strowman bloodying Nakamura in a comedy match, Vince McMahon thanking Rocky Johnson for his semen at his funeral, that sort of thing.

Try something out.

Is there a table in your room?

Walk over to it (Don't actually do this. A few of you take this all hyper-literally, so this caveat has been added to avoid a class action mutant lawsuit).

Kneel down. Press your eye against the blunt corner. Press it really, really hard. If you were to persist with this action, or have somebody help you, which you should if you think Cody is "burying" his opponents throughout this TNT Title run, you'll find that your eye will not extract itself from the socket. It might smush or burst into a disgusting ooze, but it won't cleanly pop out.

WWE, at the Horror Show at Extreme Rules, couldn't even be terrible correctly. This wasn't played tongue in cheek, even though it was beyond farcical. A nonsensical stipulation didn't even make sense in its own context.

In reality, Seth Rollins would have been better off using a f*cking spoon.
