10 Times WWE Attitude Era Went Too Far

1. Trish Stratus Table Tips

Trish Status would eventually go on to become one of the greatest female sports entertainers of all-time. However, she began her career as just another vivacious valet who has used primarily as eye candy.

One of her early angles involved taunting Bubba Ray Dudley with a barrage of table-based sexual innuendos. When describing these large pieces of wood, the future champ used lines like, 'There's long ones. Those are fun,' 'There's round ones. I like those.' and of course 'They have to be hard.'

While a bit silly, these vignettes weren't overly offensive by Attitude Era standards, by any means. However, Stratus went too far in her excessive use of horrible innuendos.

Sure, WWE is trying to penetrate wrestling fan's imaginations, but trying to erect a career on this sort of humor is no way to get ahead.
