10 Unthinkable WrestleMania Records WWE Will Break Soon
3. Title Matches In Four Different Decades
Only the best get to challenge for the biggest prize in the game at WrestleMania. To do it once is an honour, but some have done it in three different decades.
Edge and Brock Lesnar both fought for the gold in the 2000s, 10s, and 20s, but one man can beat them both.
He's been teased for so long as the ultimate challenge for Roman Reigns. Defeat him and Roman's well and truly the Head of the Table, with the entire Bloodline acknowledging him as their Tribal Chief. WWE just needs to get him back from Hollywood...
Enter, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
The Rock's competed for the WWE Championship in three decades, like Edge and Brock Lesnar, but a certain match against "Stone Cold" Steve Austin at WrestleMania XV sneaks the 1990s into the Great One's record. Not only was it the first of three stellar matches between that pairing, but it gives Dwayne the chance to go ahead of the pack and say he competed in four different decades.
As it stands, Rocky's got seven years to do it. WWE have teased us with it so much that they have to pull the trigger sooner or letter, and what better way to do it than having Rock vs. Roman main event with the WWE or Universal strap on the line? Even if the match doesn't need the belt, it adds to the drama if the Big Dog has something to lose, while The Rock has everything to gain.
The Brahma Bull's last match was against Erick Rowan and it lasted six seconds... they can't let his career end there.
