Many owe much to podcast impresario Conrad Thompson, but none more than recent WWE returnee Bruce Prichard.

McMahon's past and present right hand man was ousted back in 2008 after one too many clashes with Stephanie McMahon, and the decision to let him go was met with similar shockwaves felt by his re-signing eleven years later.

Long thought a lifer following his first hiring in 1987, Prichard was one of several high profile names bantered off by bosses-to-be Stephanie and Triple H as they sought to clean up WWE offices in their own futureproof image, and bounced around the industry before deciding to serialise his life behind-the-scenes in the phenomenally successful 'Something To Wrestle' series alongside friend and associate Thompson.

His stories, shoots and impressions sent podcast downloads soaring as wrestling fans continued to listen to as much content than they watched, bringing the pair to the Network in 2018 ahead of Prichard rejoining the creative team a year later. If his voice is half as welcome there as it has been in the earphones of millions over the past few years, he may yet get another 20 year run.
