10 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Apr 1)

6. Jon Moxley Is P*ssed Off

That's about the jist of Jon Moxley's mindset right now. He's p*ssed off.

Mox unpacked his mentality in an all-encompassing video/interview package covering his feud with Jake Hager. He said he has the biggest target on his back as AEW's top champion and that everyone wanted to take away what belongs to him, while Hager chimed in to call Moxley a fool for thinking he can compete with him. Sammy Guevara and Chris Jericho both asserted that the World Championship is on its way back to the Inner Circle, and when it does, they'll all be champions. They're unified, and Jericho believes Jake taking the strap is the best thing that could happen.

He's got one hell of a challenge ahead of him, though: while Jon understands that Hager can render him unconscious with his bare hands, he's willing to defend the strap with his life.

It was nice to hear Hager cutting something resembling a full promo hear, though he still has that dead-eyed look about him. Regardless, this feud has been well-built so far and with Hager's recent squash match for so encouraging, perhaps the No Holds Barred war scheduled for 15 April will hit the mark.
