10 Ups & 2 Downs From Impact Wrestling (23 Feb)

8. Jordynne And Jazz Punch Their Ticket

Jordynne Grace and Jazz cemented their status as the number one contenders to Fire N Flava's Knockouts Tag Team Championships, defeating Kimber Lee and Susan on last night's show. The match wasn't quite up to scratch, but it was fine nonetheless.

Jazz had some odd moments here. She pummelled Susan at one point which was good, but then she trodded across the ring from an Irish whip instead of the usual quick pace to the opposing corner. That the main highlight of the match came from Deonna Purrazzo's outside interference, resulting in ODB's run-in to dispose of 'The Virtuosa' isn't a good point. Why ODB wasn't already out there in the first place is a mystery in itself (she was later found laid out backstage, presumably by Purrazzo). Jordynne's Grace Driver to Susan ended things, as she and Jazz now go on to challenge Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz.

Not an entirely bad match, but not a good one necessarily. Still, it wasn't bad enough to be ruled a Down. There were some good points, and that's what counts here. The Sacrifice championships match should be rather enjoyable.
