10 Ups & 2 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Mar 3)
6. Where Has She Been?
Towards the end of 2019, Tenille Dashwood made a handful of appearances for Impact, including challenging Taya Valkyrie for the Knockouts Championship at Bound For Glory. Since failing to dethrone 'Wera Loca', however, we haven't seen too much of the Aussie star in Impact Wrestling in any way at all.
She returned here though, appearing via video package with the message, 'always find time for the things that make you feel happy to be alive' (i.e. avoiding Glenn Gilbertti at all costs). That was it. Nothing too special, nothing too over the top, but it worked. Tenille has never been too much about having a gimmick, unless you count the nonsensical dancing from her Emma persona in NXT as a gimmick.
What this means for Tenille heading forward in Impact remains to be seen, but we can only assume she'll be somewhat a feature focus once more. Had she just appeared in a random match, like she did alongside Jordynne Grace and ODB prior to Hard To Kill, then there wouldn't have been much to say about it. Seeing as she's being built up via video packages though, it seems as if there are genuine plans in place for her. Good stuff all around.
