10 Ups & 2 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Mar 3)
5. Cross The Line
Moose took the fight to Petey Williams this week, fresh off the former Grand Champion having some rather distasteful comment towards the stars built as a result of Total Nonstop Action. What's good about the TNA guys Moose mentioned though is that unlike some of the lads WWE brings back from time to time, these guys can still go just as well as they did before, plus they don't get the championship strapped to their shoulder immediately. 'The Canadian Destroyer' is a prime fact of Impact doing this far better.
He can still perform all of his signature moves like it's 2005 all over again - the slingshot Frankensteiner to ringside, the slingshot Codebreaker, the tilt-a-whirl legsweep. Obviously there was no way he was ever doing the Canadian Destroyer on a man the size of Moose, but it's great to see just how many of these TNA guys are still going at it like they haven't aged - AJ Styles, Amazing Red, The Motor City Machine Guns, et al.
Of course Moose would win, after obliterating the former Team Canada member with the No Jackhammer Needed spear, but the point still stands. Hopefully, this is just the beginning of the former TNA stars coming back to face Moose (or anyone, for that matter).
