Turning Point 2021 mattered.

Moose vs. Eddie Edwards was the continuation of a story years in the making that IMPACT Wrestling has near-perfected each time they clash. Chris Sabin vs. Ace Austin was a superlative legend vs. rising star saga in which the heel Austin wore a shirt resembling the famous Greg Valentine 'I Broke Wahoo's Leg' shirt. Deonna Purrazzo has gone through a seismic shift in her character, going from in-ring royalty to now being a killer in pursuit of a championship she declares her crown jewel. The Digital Media Title is worth caring about following a near-banger on the pissing pre-show.

And JONAH debuted. IMPACT Wrestling has the former Bronson Reed on its books for the foreseeable future, adding yet another big beefy bruiser to their impressive roster.

It was a pay-per-view-quality evening, despite the IMPACT Plus streaming issues. Your reviewer watched via YouTube Ultimate Insiders, which provided a seamless service throughout the evening. It's an issue IMPACT can never quite nail without error; rest assured, the video-on-demand will be posted to IMPACT Plus later today. That niggling issue aside, they more or less nailed this event, though the Ups to Downs ratio may tell otherwise.

Let's get to it...
