10 Ups & 7 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Dec 11)

3. Run It Back

He didn't wrestle on Dynamite (catch him on next week's Dark), but PAC cut a short promo with interview Jenn Decker last night, claiming he'd received a pittance in return for dominant performance after dominant performance. This led to him demanding a rematch with Kenny Omega, "or he won't be held accountable for what he does next," suggesting that we're about to get the third match in their feud.

This is exactly the kind of thing we criticise WWE for, so it's only right that it extends to AEW as well. Yes, the PAC vs. Omega matches were excellent, but we've already had two of them in just a couple of months. How about letting the programme breathe before immediately going back to it?

Booking weekly television is difficult and a certain volume of rematches is to be expected. Still, it feels like AEW are burning through compelling pairings all too quickly, which will come back to haunt them in the future.
