10 Ups & 8 Downs From AEW Fight For The Fallen

Downs...

8. Closed Caption Chaos

AEW

A minor Down but a Down nonetheless: look at the state of the screenshot above.

Closed captioning kicked in during the Buy In. It was unprompted and came completely out of nowhere, with hundreds of Twitter users noting the same problem on B/R Live, FITE.TV, and YouTube. What's worse is that the subtitles were at least 25% gibberish, spitting out slews of random, unrelated characters when it couldn't pick up what Excalibur and Alex Marvez were saying.

Production botches like this just won't do, particularly with cynics ready and waiting to dunk on AEW for any and all minor infractions. The captions stayed onscreen for a good 10-15 minutes, too. Surely somebody in the production truck should've been paying attention to this?

Not a good look at all.
