10 Ways Great Balls Of Fire Can Be WWE's Best Show Of The Year

2. Strowman Sends Reigns To The Hospital

The ongoing Braun Strowman vs. Roman Reigns saga might be the best feud WWE have booked all year. The destructive duo have been taking lumps out of each other since January, with Roman scoring the first major victory at Fastlane, before ‘The Monster Among Men’ struck back with a clean pin on his opponent at Payback.

Great Balls Of Fire is their pay-per-view rubber match, and while the goofy Ambulance stipulation may drag it down, it should still be a lot of fun. Nobody is better at playing their role than Braun at the moment. Everything he does is ‘must see’ material, and while Roman will always have his critics, he has continually allowed his opponent to look strong throughout the feud, taking all kinds of major bumps.

Whoever loses is going to be protected. The match is won when one wrestler is stuffed into the back of the ambulance, meaning WWE don’t have to burn the loser with a pinfall or submission. The outcome still matters, though. Strowman, having just returned from injury, needs to walk away from the victory. People love him at the moment, and while beating Roman in a second consecutive bout seems unlikely, it’s what needs to happen if WWE are to maximise GBOF.
