10 Ways WWE Can Be Cool Again

5. Push Seth Rollins As The Company's Top Babyface

While Dean Ambrose has proven himself to be an immense talent and Roman Reigns, despite fan rejection, does have a superstar quality that will serve him well in the long run, the real breakout star of The Shield's split was Seth Rollins. As the turncoat that destroyed the group, Rollins began showing a charisma that matched his athletic ability, something few fans realized he had. Before long he was the WWE's MVP, and even though he was booked to look like a fool for the bulk of his WWE World Heavyweight Championship reign, he was still clearly one of the best wrestlers in the world. By the time Rollins was forced to forfeit the title due to injury, fans were practically begging to cheer for him. Feuds with Kane and John Cena saw Rollins all but treated as the babyface by crowds, and a valiant performance at Night of Champions showed just how good a hero he would eventually be. The star who implausibly left WrestleMania 31 with the championship spent the rest of 2015 proving he was the total package of skill and personality. Rollins is expected back sometime between May and August, and he'll be more popular than ever when he returns. It's essential that WWE doesn't sacrifice the superstar he could become in order to make sure that Roman Reigns has no competition as top babyface. By hook or crook, WWE needs to push Rollins as hard as possible and get the most out of him - even if that means turning Reigns heel. There's nobody in the sport today who would make a better "number one" for WWE than Seth Rollins, and his presence in the company's driver's seat will lead to a more compelling product.
