Canadian pop prince Justin Bieber's 2015 hit 'Sorry' includes quite an interesting lyric. Three lines in, Bieb croons, "I hope I don't run out of time, could someone call a referee?". The singer might've been thinking something similar 12 months earlier had he actually wrestled at WWE's SummerSlam 2014 pay-per-view.

AEW's Paul Wight dished the details on this proposed celeb crossover match during an interview with 'Talk Is Jericho' years ago. According to the-then Big Show, Bieber was pencilled in to team with he and John Cena against Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, but Justin and WWE couldn't agree terms.

In theory, Bieber could've pinned Bray. What a thought.

Show said that the E irked Bieber's manager Scooter Braun when they "jacked them around" for weeks. Eventually, Braun agreed a soccer game commitment for the star instead and SummerSlam dreams went up in smoke. Wyatt, who wrestled Chris Jericho on the card instead, may be glad of that.
