10 Weirdest WWE Odd Couples

7. Tazz & Spike Dudley

Tazz knew the second his eardrums were blistered by the piercing Madison Square Garden pop during his debut that life in his immediate WWE future wasn't going to be easy.

'The Human Suplex Machine' had arrived from ECW with a huge support from North East natives and others that had experienced his legendary Philadelphia tenure, but many on the company's main roster were unable or unwilling to do business with a man they perceived as too small to be that tough.

It was almost two years later to the day in the very same venue where the former hardcore stalwart relied on more former Extreme colleagues to put him over for one final prominent run. As should have been predicted, his height was a vital component for the act to get over.

Paired with Spike Dudley to help the runt of the litter defeat his brothers Bubba Ray and D-Von, Tazz was reduced in status by virtue of his stature. It was all the duo had in common - they were underdogs because they were undersized and nothing more united them. Tazz had left the SmackDown announce desk for the run, but was back on it within months of this victory - it was as short-sighted as the pair were...well...short.
