10 Wild Predictions For What Triple H's WWE Will Look Like In 5 Years

5. Cody Rhodes Isn't There...

A recent tweet by Cody Rhodes moved to shut down a few whispers about his February 2022 departure from the company he helped form, and though much of this might have been motivated by the backstage chaos that has enveloped AEW for much of the year, it was wrapped up with a reminder of his biggest current goal.

"The big one" in this case being either/both of the belts the belts that have been over the shoulders of Roman Reigns for years, and the spot he's held for even longer. Rhodes stated this intent during his first promo back with the company, and Triple H will surely see this plan through when 'The American Nightmare' returns from injury in 2023.

But four years on from that is forever in wrestling. AEW was barely three years old when he jumped, and the time will come that there'll be unfinished back there as well. Rhodes had previously spoken of retiring at 40, but by then, there'll be a new "big one" to win, and it'll involve a return to the place most assumed he'd never leave.
