10 Worst WWE Royal Rumble Final Twos EVER

4. Ric Flair & Sid Justice - 1992

One of the best Royal Rumbles ever, almost ruined by one of the worst finishes.

WWE is constantly lauded by the online community for the 1992 Rumble as being the most star-studded in history: Randy Savage, Undertaker, British Bulldog, Ted DiBiase, Jim Duggan, Sgt. Slaughter, among others, and the stakes were higher than any Rumble before it, as the vacant WWF Championship was on the line. The final three came down to the face of the WWF Hulk Hogan, the face of WCW Ric Flair, and Sid Justice who was once touted as Hogan's replacement.

At the end of the very-good-indeed match, Hogan was thrown out by Sid to rapturous applause from the New York crowd. Hogan, incensed that he had been betrayed by his apparent good friend, went full sore loser mode and grabbed the future Sycho, attempting to pull him over the top rope. The Nature Boy took advantage of this and scooped Sid's leg over the rope, knocking him to the floor winning him both the match and the World championship.

It's phenomenal that Flair lasted a full hour in the match, and he definitely deserved the win. The final elimination spot however sullied the victory in that the winner of the match did very little in eliminating the final man, and ultimately the match laid the groundwork for one of the worst WrestleMania main events of all time.
