10 Wrestlers That Could Be Kurt Angle's Mystery Feud

1. Brock Lesnar

There may possibly be no greater first opponent back for Kurt Angle than Brock Lesnar, and it's perhaps the typically cynical work of Paul Heyman driving at undermining the Raw GM to tease him back into the ring.

As former ECW owner and Smackdown General Manager, Heyman is familiar with the strains of being in charge, and also knows Angle's few weaknesses after a stint in his corner during a late-2002 WWE Title reign.

The Universal Champion has decimated just about every opponent in his path, and hasn't even felt the need to attend Monday Night Raw with his title since the post-WrestleMania edition of the show. Angle hasn't appeared phased by the non-attendance of his champion, but will spend renewed time in his presence as Lesnar prepares for his 'Great Balls of Fire' defence against Samoa Joe. Brock narrowly got the better of Angle in their 2003 battles, but nearly 15 years on both would feel like they could still grapple at the very highest level.

As frightening as it might be to see the battle-worn Olympian visit Suplex City for the first time in nearly a decade, one more clash between the career rivals would be quite the sight to behold.
