10 Wrestlers Who Are Real-Life Heroes
8. Chuck Palumbo

Chuck Palumbo's wrestling career has been strange. He joined WCW in it's dying years as a hot prospect, then signed with WWE to join the ill-fated Alliance, had a controversial storyline with Billy Gunn, floated around ECW as a biker and took to the indies after his 2008 release before retiring in 2012.
Of all the memories he left in the ring though, this action outside it will be the one he'll be most fondly remembered for. In an unusually rainy day in El Cajon, California, emergency services were stretched due to the number of road-traffic accidents; one in particular happened as Chuck was passing, as a woman flipped her car onto it's side. She was unable to free herself because her arm was trapped between the road and the steering wheel.
Palumbo rescued the woman by lifting the car up just enough so she could free her arm, then Chuck proceeded to lift her from the totalled vehicle before the emergency services arrived. And rather than answer too many questions by the authorities, he got back in his truck and drove away when he knew the woman was safe.
Batman would be proud!
