10 Wrestlers Who Are The Best At What They Do
2. Jon Moxley - Toughest SOB
For all the theatrics and the fast paced, high octane action, wrestling will always need it's tough SOBs to survive. Wrestlers are larger than life, and being able absorb and dish out absurd amounts of punishment is what draws fans to them.
Hard bastards beating the hell out of people. Nailed it.
WWE built their most commercially successful era off of the wide back of 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin, who walked with a swagger, threw up a middle finger to the system and stomped a mudhole through anyone who got in his way. He was a man of the people, but he didn't explicitly say that. And in the two decades since he has been gone, that void hasn't been filled.
Enter, Jon Moxley.
A true man of the people, who walks with a swagger, who throws up his middle finger in the face of challenges and who takes a beating but hands out a bigger one, Moxley is this generation's 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin. Like the 'Texas Rattlesnake', the former AEW World Heavyweight Champion can throw down in the ring, can throw fists with the best of them, and walks through Hell to get the win.
Moxley just embodies the idea of being the hardest bastard in the business. There are very few who can challenge him for that title, and probably none that would actually take it from him.
