Triple H told ESPN earlier this year that he regarded UK favourite Will Ospreay as "an amazing talent", and when Triple H thinks you're an amazing talent, you've probably got a fingertip on the WWE Championship already.

To get the full two hands on there, Ospreay must first win his inaugural WWE contract, something that has thus far eluded him. Or rather, something that he has thus far eluded: the 24-year-old is clearly on WWE's radar, after all, but for the time being seems to be having way too much fun trotting (or, back-flipping) round the globe.

If and when he lands, Ospreay could command indie fanfare comparable to that of AJ Styles, who rapidly shot up the WWE ladder despite the downcast predictions of his naysayers. And as AJ found out: momentum can take you a long way.
