5. The Usos

Only one thing can salvage Jimmy & Jey Uso at this point, and luckily for them the WWE seems to be heading in that direction. After debuting as heels in 2010 the Uso boys have been babyfaces since June 2011, and five years later their act is among the stalest in the company.

Unless they turn heel and do so soon, the Usos are in danger of being left behind by the New Era. Smiling, happy clappy babyfaces are no longer needed, especially ones that come with a legendary family history. The characters of the brothers hasn't progressed passed 'do a war dance' and 'say Uce in expectation of Oh'. Professional wrestling is no longer black and white and shades of grey are required.

If the heel turn comes then Jimmy & Jey will most likely be able to create a space for themselves. As it stands, they just don't fit the new direction.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
