10 Wrestlers Who FORCED WWE To Push Them
7. LA Knight
Everybody may be saying "LA Knight!" right now, but they certainly weren't back when the 'Megastar' made his main roster debut back in May 2022.
Instead of strutting around in his leather vest and shades and letting out many a "YEAH!" on SmackDown, Knight was forced into a managing role alongside his Maximum Male Models as Max Dupri.
Vince McMahon reportedly took one look at Knight's age and decided he was too old to make it as a singles star in his company.
However, Triple H's call to allow the performer to revert back to "talkin' to ya!" when he took over creative, after Vince initially resigned in disgrace, last year eventually led to Knight getting the gimmick that had gone down so well in NXT over on the blue show, too.
Hell, his undeniable connection with the crowd, that is only getting stronger by the week, and ability to consistently deliver whenever he's given an opportunity in-between the ropes has even led to McMahon now apparently being a fan of arguably the most popular man in the company at this moment.
The defiant babyface knew this was the character that would catapult him to superstardom in WWE, and after doing everything in his power to get everybody talking about "L-A-KNIGHT!" he's finally forced his employers to take him seriously as a top guy.
