As a heel manager in the early 1990s, Diamond Dallas Page came to the ring with different valet each week - his Diamond Dolls. One of these women was Kimberly, whom Page would marry in 1991. DDP later became a wrestler, and in 1994, Kimberly returned, filling a role as Page's second and becoming simply "The Diamond Doll." For a while, Page and Kimberly played the overbearing heel/innocent valet act that Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth perfected, but they split up on-screen, and a feud with Savage and Elizabeth, of all people, brought both to the next stages of the careers - in 1997, Savage disrespected Kimberly and rising babyface Page, so the two revealed their relationship and engaged in a war with wrestling's first couple. Ultimately, it was this feud that made DDP a star, led Kimberly to leadership of the Nitro Girls dance troupe, and gave both a place in wrestling history. Page and Kimberly divorced amicably in 2005.
